I made the call at 1pm and a technician was at the door by 3pm on the same day. He was polite, knowledgeable and successfully fixed the problem with my Dell laptop without losing files. He arrived on time and had the job done within an hour and a half and was very helpful and gave important advice. Couldn\'t have been a smoother process. Very happy with the service and would recommend again

I was extremely happy with the Sercive I received from ACD. My technician, Andrew, knew exactly how to fix my problem and explained the situation very clearly for me. While my problem was being fixed, I had a very useful discussion with Andrew about other related topics that will be beneficial for me in the future. I prefer having a technician come out on site than having to leave a computer to be diagnosed. I can highly recommend ACD and particularly Andrew to anyone deciding whether to use this Service

The technician arrived within the allotted time and the repair was effected in a timely manner. Working from home, I don\'t have an IT helpdesk that I can call on when I have technical problems with my computer. After many frustrating hours trying to resolve an internet issue, I contacted ACD and to my surprise, I had a technician come to my house and resolve the issue within 3 hours. The payment I made to ACD was much cheaper than my many hours lost trying to resolve the problem. Based on my experience, I would have no hesitations calling ACD again.

My sluggish computer was in all its component pieces. On being reassembled by Australia Computer Doctors, my computer was then fine tuned, a free anti virus was installed, and I finished up with a very pleasant computer to work with...All for a one off inclusive $179 fee. My whole life is on my laptop and when it started behaving strangely I was extremely anxious about how I was going to get it working again, how much it would cost, and how long it would take. Looking online for help, ACD seemed a good choice as they would visit me at work or at home which is so much better than having to take my laptop and leave it with someone in a workshop somewhere. When the ACD tech rang me and diagnosed the problem, it turned out to be something that I could fix easily with the help of his instructions over the phone. He guided me step by step through the process and it was so easy and convenient that I\'ll never worry again if I have computer problems because I know that I can get help from ACD and I know how much it will cost and how long it will take. ACD are great.

I spent 3 days and 3 nights with out sleep trying to fix problems with my hard drive, problems internet not working files not opening messages I could not understand Instructions I could not follow and 13 Trojan viruses and my poor knowledge and experience was frustrating me no end. I contacted ACD in the morning when I discovered with dismay that my computer was not working. After trying a few troubleshooting tactics unsuccessfully, I decided it needed a professional hand.. I spoke to Ben - who immediately reassured me that the problem I was encountering was easily rectifiable. Then I was pleasantly surprised to hear that the technician visit fee was a fixed rate - regardless of the time it took to get it fixed: unless it had to be taken away, then an additional fee.. To my relief, a technician could be sent today..I was given a time frame of 2 hrs and promptly, approximately 5 to 10 mins prior, the technician was at my doorstep. Vinay was very pleasant, polite and friendly, and patiently went about fixing my computer.. I was almost despairing: the hard drive was not responding!!! finally, to my huge relief, success !!! What do I need to have on my computer?

The more important thing to have is a reasonable internet connection which is of at least broadband speed i.e. ADSL, ADSL2 or cable internet access. The only other thing you require is a web browser and a credit card - we take care of the rest! At the moment, this service is only offered to Microsoft Windows based systems, including Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. If you are not sure if you have a remote support ready machine, please contact our office and we would be more than willing to assist you.

 Can anyone else see my files while you are connected?

No - Our software initiates a secure connection for our technician only, meaning that no one else will be able to connect to your computer, or get access to your data during, or after the work has been completed.

 How safe is it to connect to my computer?

We utilise a 256 bit encryption process, the same as your bank or financial institution uses. This makes the connection completely safe and secure, and we can only access your computer with your permission. You will be able to see us control your desktop and you may terminate the remote session, on your end, at any time you wish.
