Remove PC Security Guardian for safe

PC Security Guardian a newly released fake antivirus program which has been created by hackers to get you to buy the fake upgrade to the infection. Like the 100's of other similar infections out there, this has been designed to disguise itself as a legitimate program, and will then block a lot of the programs and settings that you'll typically be able to use to protect your computer from being hijacked. The bottom line is that because this is an actual piece of software, many of the tools which people use to protect their PCs will not be able to deal with them, making it vital that you're able to fix the various problems that it's caused.

The best way to get rid of the PC Security Guardian infection is to first restart your computer into "Safe Mode". This mode basically allows your system to run without the various infections that it may have running - allowing you to get rid of it in the most effective way. To restart your PC into "Safe Mode", it's recommended that you restart your infected PC, press F8 continually before it loads up, and then select "Safe Mode With Networking". This will boot up your PC without the virus running, and allow you to get rid of the infection.

We recommend that after restarting into safe mode, you use a dedicated malware removal application on your system. This will clean out all of the infected files that PC Security Guardian will have placed onto your system, allowing your PC to run much smoother and more reliably as possible. If you download a program such as "Frontline Rogue Remover" or "SuperAntiSpyware", you'll be able to get rid of the infection by following these steps:

    • Once in safe mode, access the Internet
    • Download a program such as "MalwareBytes" or "SuperAntiSpyware"
    • Install the software
    • Let it run and then remove any of the infections that it finds
