Build key relationships
Cultivate a team of well spoken, confident, knowledable people who can establish and maintain ongoing relationships with customers.
Control Expectations
Under promise and over deliver, or if that is not possible then be low key about what the delivery dates were, make a guess, then double them.
Maintain Communication
Stay in touch with current customers at least once every two months.
Be Consistent
Keep customer service a top priority and on the rare occasion that a customer is unhappy, do everything you can to rectify the situation to satisfy the customer.
