Lets take a look at the Nintendo WiiU
Due out next year is the Nintendo WiiU - with Nintendo changing the face of gaming so much in the past, it looks like they are set to do it again. While Microsoft and Sony have spent the last 18months or so playing *catch-up* to the Wii's motion skills - Nintendo has been going ahead with the WiiU, and while this plain white box holds a new HD the important part is actually the controller, with various motion sensors this 6 inch touch screen with webcam owes much of it's design to the Apple iPad and the original Wii. It looks like there will be some changes ahead for gamers. The Wii's greatest weakness was always found in it's graphics, but with so many people swinging imaginary tennis rackets it didn't matter. The WiiU is set to change all that - you can expect sharp HD graphics just like you currently see with the PS3 or Xbox 360. It is also backwards compatible with all your current games and controllers - including the balance board, nunchucks and classic controller
